Exchange personal messages through digital gift packages and postcards, with gift-opening states and keepsakes for the two participants.
Browse photo collections from a configured Google Drive album folder. Subfolders become collections, with covers, photo descriptions and larger image views.
The planned album feature uses one participant's Google account, with their permission, to read photos and folder information from a configured album folder. Both designated participants would be able to view that shared album within OurNest.
Photo files; folder and file names and IDs; descriptions; image dimensions; capture or creation dates; and modification information needed to organize collections and refresh their contents. Access and refresh tokens would be kept on the server to maintain the authorized connection.
The intended initial album release requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly to discover existing photo collections and download images. This permission can read and download files throughout the authorizing account's Drive. The configured album folder would be an application-level restriction, not a restriction enforced by the OAuth scope. Metadata-only permissions cannot download images. The narrower https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file permission applies to app-created or explicitly selected files; it does not by itself authorize automatic discovery of independently added photos without additional file selection. The connection has not been implemented or enabled on this website.
The initial album release would only browse the configured album and would not create, edit or delete Drive files. A future upload feature could use drive.file for app-created or explicitly selected files, after its behavior and permissions are verified and disclosed. Uploading and creating collections are not available in the current release. OurNest does not plan to request Gmail, Calendar or Contacts permissions for the album feature.
Connecting Drive would be optional and require explicit authorization. The account owner can revoke access through Google Account connections. Please read the Privacy Policy for intended use, storage, sharing and deletion arrangements.
The album is intended for the two participants of a single private home, rather than public photo sharing. Planned Google data use is limited to the album experience, not advertising or training AI models. No Google connection or consent is requested by this information page.
